I am so happy that you’ve found my blog! I’m Sarah, I’m an English teacher turned school librarian, and I feel unbelievably grateful and blessed to be a teacher!
The sheer awesomeness of this job hits me at random times. Like sometimes, when I’m in the middle of reading a silly story in a silly voice to a room full of giggling kindergarten students, it occurs to me that I get PAID to do something SO FUN.
Sure, it’s not all sunshine and bubbles and smiley face emojis…but it’s a pretty amazing profession. And to top it all off, I have the great privilege of working in a Catholic school, so my workplace surrounds me with overt reminders of God’s love and gives me opportunities to grow in my Catholic faith.
